The St. William Chapter of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) is most grateful for the generosity
of our parishioners in their gifts of their treasure during the second collection at mass on the first Sunday each month. It is this revenue which permits us to assist those in need who come to us for assistance with their critical financial needs such as utilities, shelter, clothing and other crucial issues.

Another on-going need is for non-perishable food donations. The SVdP society maintains collection boxes at the church to receive such non-perishables as canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, dried beans, rice, peanut butter and jelly, spaghetti and sauce, tomato products, soup (canned and dried), tuna and canned meat products, macaroni and cheese, as well as most other food commodities. According to the US Department of Agriculture, 7.1% of the population of Williamson County lives in poverty where hunger is a constant factor.
