Another on-going need is for non-perishable food donations. The SVdP society maintains collection boxes at the church to receive such non-perishables as canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, dried beans, rice, peanut butter and jelly, spaghetti and sauce, tomato products, soup (canned and dried), tuna and canned meat products, macaroni and cheese, as well as most other food commodities. According to the US Department of Agriculture, 7.1% of the population of Williamson County lives in poverty where hunger is a constant factor. |

We are not, at present, able to accept non-food merchandise contributions, but these items may be donated to one of the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores located at 1601 S. IH-35 Suite 305 [MAP] in Round Rock or at 1327 S. Congress Ave, Austin, Tx, 512-442-.5652. We frequently award our clients vouchers for items they need from this store.
